NTIA Investigating Ties Between Data, Harm
NTIA launched a request for comment Wednesday on how companies’ data practices may impose greater harm on marginalized and underserved communities. NTIA Administrator Alan Davidson previewed the proceeding at CES 2023 earlier this month, calling it the start of the agency’s work to investigate issues that are at the intersection of privacy and civil rights.
