Zenita Henderson

In her first year at SCTE/ ISBE, Henderson has already made a mark with marketing initiatives that promote the organization’s value within the industry and beyond. She’s made strides with the Corporate Alliance Partner program, helped develop the Energy in a Box Tool Kit for the Energy 2020 program, and pushed SCTE/ISBE to adopt new marketing processes. Henderson takes her cues from those who’ve preceded her. “The WICT principles—especially ‘be fearless’—are guidelines every person should hear earlier in life,” she says. “I didn’t hear them until I was in my 30s and didn’t act on them until my 40s. And what a great ride my 40s have been!”
