As always, it’s free to nominate candidates for the Diversity List. The new Individual & Organization awards listed below are NEW entry categories to highlight people and initatives worthy of special recognition in 2020. There is an entry fee for these new categories.
An executive whose contributions to diversity initiatives and overall D&I leadership has made an important impact within the cable & broadband industry and inspired others to step up their games.
An individual whose extraordinary mentoring efforts has made a measurable impact in helping to increase the number of low- to mid-level diverse executives that have risen to senior roles.
This award recognizes a multi-ethnic executive with outstanding business results over the last year. All departments and job functions are eligible.
An executive who identifies as an LGBTQ+ individual and embodies excellence in leadership, community service and overall business acumen.
This select group of executives of color exhibits outstanding innovation, creativity and passion—all while making enormous contributions that take their companies to the next level.
These young and multi-ethnic up-and-comers represent the future of the industry, which depends on their energy, new ideas and unique perspectives to drive success.
Eligibility: Person who is 30 years or younger on Dec. 31, 2020
This award goes to an advertising campaign for a brand, service or product that appeals to diverse customers or increases a company’s outreach to minority or other diverse communities.
This award recognizes specific community outreach efforts related directly to helping underserved communities or promoting a more diverse community.
This award recognizes a successful diversity promotion program that has been in place for at least 2 years and has made a sustained and measurable impact on a company’s ratio of diverse employees.
This award recognizes a for-profit initiative that ties diversity objectives to a new product or service that bolstered the company’s bottom line.
This award recognizes a public affairs media, lobbying or awareness campaign (local, regional or national) designed to create awareness of a company’s diversity efforts, charitable contributions or other initiatives aimed at a more diverse and inclusive world.
This award recognizes a successful diversity recruiting program that has made a sustained and measurable impact on a company’s ratio of diverse employees across the entity or within a specific division.
What’s the difference between the Diversity List and the Individual/Organization Awards?
The Diversity List is a free entry program that recognizes the most influential executives of color in the business.
The Individual/Organization Awards are special paid entry categories to highlight those people and initiatives that deserve special recognition in 2020.

If I or my company is not represented on the Diversity List, can I or my company still be recognized with an Individual or Organization Award?
Yes! The Individual and Organization Awards are completely separate from the Diversity List.
Can I enter more than one category?
Yes! It is encouraged. There is no limit to number of campaigns you can enter.
When will I be notified about the status of my entry?
You will be contacted by Cablefax staff regarding your entry only if you are named a finalist in the award program. Finalists will be notified in summer 2020 and announced on www.cablefax.com.
