Do you have an example of male allyship that made a difference to you?
My relationship with my current leader Mark Dzuban, SCTE president & CEO is the perfect example of a male allyship that has made a huge difference in my career. Prior to joining SCTE, I was a customer of the association as part of the anchor tenant, vendor with the largest booth and sponsorship sales at Expo for over three decades.

Back in 2015, I was chatting with the previous marketing management about CRM and ROI and seeking data from SCTE to support our marketing spend to update our corporate alliance program agreement. Mark invited me to lunch to find out more about what I was doing and why I was asking for all of this information. Between 2015 and 2016, we had several more lunches. When SCTE was looking to hire their first CIO, they invited me to lunch to reiterate all of the information I had been sharing, so that SCTE could put processes into place in order to deliver the data I was requesting. Ultimately in 2016, the position of Marketing Director became available and the rest is history. I departed a company I had been at for 28 years to join SCTE. A conversation over a few lunches changed the entire trajectory of my career.
