Michelle Rice

Rice kicked off 2019 in stellar fashion with the launch of Cleo TV, a new motivational lifestyle and entertainment cable network aimed at speaking directly to millennial and Generation X women of color. As the principal architect of Cleo, Michelle called it her “baby,” saying at its unveiling that it is “a very important time in our history for women to see women at the forefront of different areas.” Cleo TV was launched on Comcast and Charter by its sister channel TV One, both of which offer programming designed to entertain and inform a diverse audience of adult black viewers. Last year, Rice made the move to permanent general manager of TV One after having served as interim GM since July 2017.
