The Why? Philpott’s work includes collaborating with product and marketing teams on ensuring digital equity to helping finalize Cox’s biggest investment to date: the acquisition of Segra, a super-regional, fiber-based provider serving commercial enterprise and carrier serving nine states. An executive sponsor of the legal team’s DEI committee, Philpott was profiled in Cox’s “In Their Own Words” video series as part of the company’s Black History Month celebration. Currently NAMIC’s governance chair, she was the featured speaker for its Women’s History Month event.
