A lot is going to be made about the fireworks coming out of Wednesday’s Senate Commerce hearing over the broadcast public interest standard and the Jimmy Kimmel saga, but those with business in front of the FCC may want to pay closer attention to Chairman Brendan Carr’s responses on whether it’s an independent agency.
