Magesh Srinivasan

Since his 2020 promotion to EVP of network operations, Srinivasan has focused his attention on improving both operational excellence and experience by creating a culture built around a customer-centric approach. His operational discipline helps ensure network operations and principles work together to enhance the customer experience, and his efforts have dramatically improved Charter’s key performance metrics. Communicating with colleagues is as important as engaging with customers, which is why Srinivasan appreciates Charter’s employee resource groups. “Each of these groups has unique diversity and inclusion focus. I consider one of the best initiatives to be the Charter Diversity and Inclusion Talks. These talks showcase our commitment to DEI through diverse speakers sharing their journey and providing perspectives that I believe promotes more openness in discussing related challenges.”

Do you think there has been significant progress on DEI in the industry in the past year?
Yes, we continue to increase our effort and investment in DEI initiatives in the industry and at Charter from a people, supplier, and community standpoint. While there still are ample opportunities to improve, we continue to make significant progress including this past year and are more aware than ever of the business benefits of DEI.

Best initiative to come out of one of your company’s Employee Resource Groups?
Charter has several business resource groups that our employees participate in, contribute to, learn from, and grow. Each of these groups have unique diversity and inclusion focus. I consider one of the best initiatives to be the “Charter Diversity and Inclusion Talks”. These talks show case our commitment to DEI through diverse speakers sharing their journey and providing perspectives that I believe promotes more openness in discussing related challenges.

My best advice for fostering open, honest communication…
As leaders, we should strive to create an inclusive environment by seeking input from all our team members and promote a culture where everyone feels that their views/opinions are valued and respected.
