Anselmo has been instrumental in launching Optimum’s “Where Local is Big Time” platform. Her focus on cultural transformation has driven a 90% participation in employee engagement surveys. She also has been involved with Guardians Healing, a nonprofit that executes medical missions to provide healthcare to communities in the Dominican Republic and Haiti.

What has been your favorite trend from the past year? Fiber, fiber, fiber. For the last few years, we’ve been building our state-of-the-art fiber network and we’re really picking up steam as we add more fiber customers, nearing the half a million-customer mark. With this foundation in place, I love what we are doing at Optimum with convergence and evolving our products and offerings to meet customer needs, like the introduction of our Entertainment TV streaming package and introducing more simple offers featuring internet, mobile, and streaming TV. So much more to come in this space, but we are making it easier for customers to do business with us while giving them even better services, which is so exciting.

What do you believe is the next big disruption facing the industry? Artificial Intelligence will have a huge impact on every industry, leading to a lot of innovation. At Optimum, we are exploring many ways to utilize AI to benefit our customers, business, and teammates, and its already having a significant and positive impact on our customer and employee experience. I do think it’s important we manage AI thoughtfully and carefully, but I’m excited to see how we continue to innovate in the space.
