Camille Joseph

Joseph is quite busy sitting on the boards of Reverend Al Sharpton’s National Action Network; the Lower Eastside Girls Club, which provides free art, science, leadership, entrepreneurship and wellness programming for gender-diverse youth in NYC and Eleanor’s Legacy. She’s also expanding Charter’s presence, notably having led the team responsible for Charter’s deal with the NYC Housing Authority to roll out the free municipal broadband program Big Apple Connect.

Advice I would give to a recent graduate: In all things, it is important to make decisions based on core values. By utilizing your core values as a compass, you can make decisions that align with your personal values and long-term goals.

What nonprofit are you proud to champion? In my role at Charter, I’m fortunate to support and champion many nonprofits across seven states in the northeast. A key part of my responsibilities is to bring an external lens to Charter while keeping my finger on the pulse of the community, our customers, and political trends so leadership can help navigate our company in the best way possible for our customers in the northeast and around the country.

What does work-life balance mean to you? I believe in the value of self-care, so when I can, I try to meditate and find time for long walks. I also enjoy spending quality time with my family which keeps me centered and affirms my purpose.
