Allen continues to make headlines as he expands his AMG empire—now comprising 2,400 employees—and his promotion of economic inclusion for Black-owned media. This past year, he went big leveraging VideoAmp as the alternative currency for 2023-24 upfront season and oversaw a collaboration between The Weather Channel and VideoAmp to deliver enhanced metrics for advertisers. He also had a cultural impact, including leading The Weather Channel’s partnership with digital network Pattrn for the Covering Climate Now Journalism Awards to spotlight climate journalism and the reporters behind the work, and providing live on-the-ground coverage from Climate Week NYC. Allen also made headlines for making a $14 billion offer for Paramount as he continues to grow AMG.
