Information Resources Inc launched "IRI BehaviorScan DVR Service," aimed at letting national advertisers quantify DVR technology’s adoption on ad effectiveness and brand and category sales. The idea is to find out not just who watches an ad, but who then buys the advertised product. It was developed in close cooperation with TiVo.
