Already an established force in the cable technology realm—she’s the only woman to receive a Lifetime Achievement Emmy, she was named to the 2024 Cable Hall of Fame and as chair of the Cable TV Pioneers she hosted the largest banquet in that organization’s history—Kanouff has had a profound effect on the business through her commitment to mentoring the next generation of leaders in this space. A co-founder of the TechConnect mentoring program and the first chairwoman of SCTE, she continues to share her insights as a speaker at industry events.
What emerging industry trend are you most excited by and why? We’re only now starting to see how AI will impact our lives. I anticipate that it will be an amazing journey for which I am incredibly excited. I think we should all embrace and help guide this transformation.

If you were a social media influencer, what product would you peddle? If I had the opportunity to be a social media influencer, I would promote life experience travel. We all need to really get away from it all sometimes.
