Song From Earlier days still on your playlist: I love all music, from 80s/90s hip hop to Boyz to Men/Jodeci to Metallica!

What roadblocks have you overcome when it comes to DEI? It’s impossible to say I’ve overcome all roadblocks. There are still many challenges we are all facing, and we will continue to face them as we move forward. The goal for me is to continue to work together with everyone, educate those who want to learn and create opportunities for those who have been ignored. We need more leaders and actions. It’s impossible to correct all the DEI issues we’ve faced overnight.

Advice for productive conversation about race in the workplace: Just be honest and transparent – and I usually ask someone to look at it from our point of view.
