This non-stop news year has seen sky-high ratings for Fox News, helmed by Scott since May 2018. Fox News wrapped 3Q20 as the most-watched channel across both total day and prime among basic cable, becoming the 17th consecutive quarter as No 1 in total viewers in total day. Fox Business, also under Scott’s purview, saw its highest-rated Q3 in network history across business day and total day. It was obviously a hectic year with the network covering the presidential election. When anchor Chris Wallace moderated the first presidential debate and faced criticism for not better controlling the candidates, Scott and Fox News president Jay Wallace came to his defense. “We are extremely proud of his professionalism, skill and fortitude in a unique situation while doing everything possible to hold both candidates accountable,” they wrote in a company-wide memo. Scott is also an advocate for women at Fox, and is extremely proud of her track record for installing women in prominent host or anchor roles. She launched Mentor Match at Fox News Media, and has personally led several mentoring and networking programs within the company. Outside of work, she volunteers with the YMCA and is a supporter of the Morris County Interfaith Food Pantry.
