Nancy Daniels Cablefax TV Hall of Fame

Despite tough competition for female eyeballs across the TV landscape, Nancy Daniels’ savvy management and vision has kept TLC well within the top 10 TV destinations for women, with ratings up 20% over last year and full steam ahead. Meanwhile, she led a coup of sorts this year by bringing back TLC classic “Trading Spaces” with original host Paige Davis and snagging an unprecedented partnership with Tyler Perry as she moves boldly into the scripted realm.  She also has a social conscience: Last year, Daniels accepted a GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding Reality Program for the TLC’s groundbreaking series “I Am Jazz” following the life of 15-year-old Jazz Jennings documenting her triumphs and struggles as a transgender teen. For that and so many other reasons, we welcome Daniels into the TV Hall of Fame.
