Talk about a gold medalist. Williams went above and beyond this past year in her efforts to construct and launch a tent pole app for NBCU’s distribution partners. With the significant amount of Olympics content available on VOD, she wanted to provide easier access to content and standard functionality across partner experiences. Under her vision and direction, her team built an app for NCTC members using the TiVo video platform and Verizon Fios TV’s video platforms, creating a new destination for both distributors to enhance their consumers’ experience with NBCU’s coverage of the Games. Williams is also continually finding ways to optimize the evolving distribution landscape. She helped enable new monetization paths in C3 and Dynamic Ad Insertion, and was instrumental in the rollout of NBCU experiences across vMVPDs.
