Under Parker’s watch, the division earned from the Hartford Business Journal and Vermont Business Magazine recognition as one of the best places to work in Connecticut and Vermont, respectively. He’s admittedly biased, but Parker says that NBCU’s live production of “The Wiz Live” deserves special recognition. It “set the standard by making live entertainment accessible for people who have a visual disability,” he says, “and I’m proud of our company for recognizing that diversity is not just about differences in race, gender, culture and color, for example, and respects different thoughts and experiences.”
