Best advice for someone looking to re-enter the workforce after a hiatus?
Take an honest and thorough inventory of your skills and talents. We all work every day at so many different things. A paycheck is nice but not always involved in hard work each of us does every day. And don’t be shy about acknowledging your accomplishments. Managing household finances is managing a P&L. Coordinating getting people from point A to B requires logistical and project management. Stuff we do to get through a day requires critical skill.

Do you have an example of male allyship that made a difference to you?
I had a great leader who had a vision for a big operational role that he was confident only I could fill. His vision was the framework. He gave me the responsibility, accountability, freedom and support to define the structure, organization and business objectives. We had a great partnership that I’ve used as an example of how to be any ally for others.
