For Brockhage, it’s all about the numbers—and they’re only getting more critical heading into the 2020 Summer Olympics and NBC News’ coverage of the Presidential election. It bodes well for the exec, who led record-breaking views during the Pyeonchang Winter Olympics and Telemundo’s coverage of the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup, which delivered four of the five most-watched matches in Spanish-language history. Brockhage is instrumental in securing carriage deals across all cable, satellite and telco partners. “It’s impossible to imagine the turns life will take—embrace the challenges, roll with the punches, and enjoy the ride,” she says.

What specifically does your company do to support and elevate the women who work there?
There are powerful women throughout NBCUniversal who are devoted to recognizing talent and mentoring women across the organization. The company’s long been a supporter of WICT and BMLI and of finding opportunities for women to network, grow and discover new opportunities.

What advice would you give your 13-year-old self?
It’s impossible to imagine the turns life will take—embrace the challenges, roll with the punches, and enjoy the ride.

Which current shows best reflect the kind of women’s roles you like to see and why?
Netflix’s “Unbelievable” really showcase excellent woman actors in a variety of compelling roles.
