At the end of the day, it’s all about the numbers, so Brockhage has much to be proud of in that there were record-breaking eyeballs watching Super Bowl LII, the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics and Telemundo’s FIFA World Cup. Additionally, she and her team of six worked tirelessly integrating NBC and Telemundo affiliated stations on vMVPD platforms. A long-time member of WICT, Brockhage advocates strongly for the advancement of women in the industry. While she has admirers, Brockhage says she’s inspired by Ida B. Wells, an African-American journalist and anti-lynching activist, citing her “courage to fight for change when it seemed impossible.”
