Under Day’s leadership, Viacom Digital Studios has seen year-over-year domestic increases in social video views and watch time by 112% and 104%, respectively. In addition, Viacom’s YouTube subscribers have nearly doubled during the past year. Day upped the digital game at Viacom with an exciting slate of digital programming, platform partnerships, talent deals and the international expansion of VidCon. “It’s exciting to bring our brands, shows and talent to our audiences’ fingertips through the social and digital platforms they love,” Day says.

What’s a recent example of a step forward for women in the media industry?
More women have a seat at the table than ever before. Whether it’s in front of or behind the screen, women and girls are able to share their stories authentically and in their own voice.

What’s been the most dramatic change in your sector of the business today vs. three years ago?
The nature of TV has completely changed as technology has introduced different formats for audiences to watch programming anywhere and everywhere. While pay TV remains a powerful force, it’s not the only way audiences are viewing content. It’s exciting to bring our brands, shows and talent to our audiences’ fingertips through the social and digital platforms they love.
