Winograde’s passion for dynamic storytelling propelled Showtime to claim four of the top five scripted originals on premium cable this past year. She also leads DEI efforts across Showtime’s programming with an eye to not only develop new talent but elevate BIPOC and female voices in front of and behind the camera. In 2022, more than 60% of Showtime scripted series leads or co-leads are BIPOC.

What is a quote that you draw inspiration from? Really, I have two that I always try to remember: Coco Chanel’s quote, “Don’t spend time beating on a wall hoping to transform it into a door,” and Theodore Rosevelt’s quote, “Comparison is the thief of joy.”
