Dana Strong

Behind every new innovation or service coming from Comcast are Strong and her team. This year, they’ve achieved everything from adding Amazon Prime Video to the X1 platform to adding digital security features to xFi. Through the services she molds, Strong touches each and every one of Comcast’s customers in one way or another. And with the company’s September announcement that Xfinity Flex is now available for free to all broadband-only customers, Strong now has the opportunity to establish more touch points with Comcast’s internet subscribers than ever before. Strong also believes in creating those deep connections with other women throughout Comcast. At this year’s Women’s Network Summit, she spoke to more than 600 employees both in person and through virtual platforms. “Diversity and inclusion is at the heart of Comcast’s culture. Today, our workforce is 62 percent diverse, with 71 percent of Comcast NBCUniversal’s new hires in 2018 being women or people of color. Diversity among leadership is growing as well, with 53 percent of our employees reporting to a woman or person of color,” she says.
