Ann Sarnoff

Years in Cable: 17

One Word that Best Describes Me: Passionate

Sarnoff has been busy overseeing a new partnership with ITV, one of the UK’s largest commercial broadcasters, which already has resulted in the launch of the BritBox streaming service. She also played an instrumental role in a deal between BBC Worldwide North America and Blue Ant Media to launch the BBC Earth channel in Canada. Yet it’s the deals with AMC, Amazon, and Netflix that viewers will appreciate most since those agreements involve programs: The drama series “McMafia,” based on the book by the same name, is co-production with AMC; the Amazon deal brings popular Australian drama “The Kittering Incident” to the U.S. via Amazon Prime Video; and Netflix has commissioned, and will debut, a second season of “Lovesick.”
