Ann Sarnoff

Through more than two years in the top leadership role, Sarnoff is evolving BBC America to capitalize on technological advances while keeping firm footing in its Anglo programming roots. She oversaw the partnership with UK commercial broadcaster ITV that brought new SVOD service BritBox to the US in Q1 2017. The service features programs never-before-seen Stateside, Brit soap episodes as soon as 24 hours after their UK broadcast and classic British TV titles. Sarnoff also led the agreement between with Blue Ant Media to bring BBC Earth, the BBC’s premium factual channel, to Canada, sealed a co-production deal with AMC for drama series “McMafia,” and led key distribution deals with Amazon and Netflix. She also oversees LA Studios, and their efforts to bring British programming to US audiences—including the 25th season of “Dancing with the Stars,” airing on ABC this fall, and “Top Gear America,” in production for BBC America.
