The Why? As a member of NAMIC and WICT, Williams seizes every opportunity to embrace diversity and lead through education, community involvement and leadership development. She serves as the executive sponsor of the Discovery PRIDE employee resource group, supporting members and friends of the LGBTQ+ community, and she never shies away from speaking publicly on the topic of diversity and inclusion.

What makes for a successful Employee Resource Group? Any ERG that is inclusive and engaging of all participants, whether they identify specifically, generally, or are strong allies in the commitment, work, and execution of the ERG. Additionally, when an ERG is also aligned to the business strategy, and as a result is able to seek out, create and nurture progress that ultimately makes the business better.
