“The Offer,” series premiere, Apr. 28, Paramount+. It was an interesting choice for writers Michael Tolkin (Showtime’s “Escape at Dannemora”) and Nikki Toscano (Amazon Prime’s extremely creative “Hunters”) to choose Albert Ruddy’s saga as a young producer of “The Godfather” as the centerpiece of this sometimes thin 10-parter.
