Carr Applauds FCC Loss on EEO Rule in Appeals Court

FCC Chair Brendan Carr celebrated a Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals ruling Monday that overturned an agency order under his predecessor that required most TV and radio broadcasters to compile employment demographics data and to disclose the data to the Commission.

Religious Broadcasters Seek Stay Of FCC’s EEO Form

The National Religious Broadcasters, the American Family Association and the Texas Association of Broadcasters are asking the FCC to stay implementation of its order reinstating the collection of equal employment data from broadcasters.
