FCC Argues ISPs are Like Delivery Apps in Net Neutrality Brief

In a respondents’ brief filed Wednesday, the Commission argued that today’s broadband providers are far different from the early non-facilities-based dial-up ISPs that offered a suite of applications like email and newsgroups.

Rosenworcel Revives Title II Debate at the FCC
FCC Chair Jessica Rosenworcel is moving quickly now that she has a full Commission behind her. Anna Gomez was sworn in as the third Democratic commissioner late Monday, and less than 24 hours later, Rosenworcel shared a draft rulemaking that proposes to re-establish FCC oversight over broadband by classifying it as a service regulated under Title II.
