Broadcast Groups Want a Timeframe on ATSC 3.0 Transition
A group of 50 state broadcasters associations issued their support for the FCC setting a deadline and an industry-wide transition plan for the full deployment of NextGen TV, as well as a sunset date for ATSC 1.0.

NAB Wants 1.0 Simulcast Sunset
Cable has encouraged the FCC to keep a requirement that forces broadcasters transitioning to ATSC 3.0 to continue to air programming on its 1.0 simulcast channel that is substantially similar to the primary video on the 3.0 channel, but NAB has a differing opinion.
