Valerie Cabrera

AMC Studios is getting bigger and bigger, largely thanks to Cabrera’s efforts in securing homes for its content in domestic and international territories. She landed “The Walking Dead: World Beyond” at Amazon Prime Video in an international deal across Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Africa and Europe, and continues to negotiate sales and distribution agreements across the world. She’s passionate about hiring minorities and women, and says “one way that companies can best show a sincere commitment to D&I is by creating a forum for open communication and acting on what comes up in these forums.”
