When it comes to ad effectiveness, Betron is always on the lookout for ways marketers can get the most for their buck through the multiscreen nature of video. This fall, Disney’s media networks’ advertising sales teams were unified, expanding Betron’s purview. She leads multiplatform industry sales across sports, entertainment, digital and social for the Disney Advertising Sales team. Team play is something she excels at and she is big on mentoring, serving on ESPN’s Executive Women’s Forum and as part of Disney’s Leader-to-Leader Mentorship Program. As for a woman who inspires her, she points to IBM CEO Ginni Rometty. “She continues to forge ahead with a plan to transform IBM, despite the huge challenges and short-term setbacks,” she says.

Rooting out those who abuse their power, thereby sending the signal that it will no longer be tolerated.
