Under McMahon’s leadership, WWE has touched far more than the traditional pro wrestling audience. WWE superstars have made appearances on Nickelodeon’s “Double Dare,” MTV’s “Wild ‘N Out” and Apple TV’s “Carpool Karaoke.” In 2019, WWE also received a dedicated award for the first time in ESPYS history. The award, chosen entirely on fans, honored the most memorable WWE moment over the past year. New for 2020 is the launch of free, direct-to-consumer version of WWE Network.
