Under Hair’s leadership, the regional sports network boasts record profitability. He also oversaw the Boston-area launch of the NBC Sports Group’s “MyTeams” app in October 2018. Like many other NBCU execs, Hair is a vocal advocate of the company’s employee resource groups—support networks that promote inclusion, awareness and respect in the workplace. “These groups are a great opportunity for employees across the organization to embrace our diverse culture,” he says. And where on TV does he see this spirit of diversity embodied most successfully? Hair points to NBC drama “This Is Us,” and its diverse cast and story lines.
