Since being promoted to her current position, Southworth has played an integral role in negotiating key agreements in some of AMC’s most prominent initiatives. She also co-authored an article about native advertising and spoke on the topic at Continuing Legal Education (CLE) events. Which shows does the exec feel celebrate diversity? “‘Modern Family’ does a great job of showcasing diversity in a fun way,” she says, “and I also think AMC does a fantastic job at showcasing diversity in shows like ‘The Walking Dead’ and ‘Fear the Walking Dead.’”
