It’s been a wild year for Yaccarino, who has put all of her time and energy into transforming the future of advertising. She headed efforts to develop NBCU’s One Platform, which gives advertisers a chance to buy both linear and digital video ads. It came at just the right time, with NBCU launching AVOD streamer Peacock in July. Yaccarino also orchestrated a partnership with the Ad Council, the White House and government agencies to create PSAs communicating vital information on how to slow the spread of COVID-19. Her hard work is paying off. The well-respected exec was promoted in October, adding local advertising sales and data strategy efforts to her purview.
