Compliance might as well be Laine’s middle name. She’s Comcast’s expert on the matter, leading its efforts for ensuring compliance and making sure anything that’s not in line gets corrected quickly. She’s also charged with ensuring Comcast’s compliance with the conditions arising from its merger with NBCU. And there’s nobody better than Laine for the job. She’s an FCC alumnae, previously serving as an attorney adviser in the Policy Division of the Commission’s Common Carrier Bureau. And she’s paving the way forward for the next generation of telecom lawyers. Laine is a member of the Federal Communications Bar Assn. and previously served as an adjunct professor at Seton Hall Law School.
