Jodi Markley

With all studio and remote operations across all of ESPN’s US facilities under her purview—network operations, media operations, post-production services, creative services, studio directing, plus the sports and information research and analytics team—Markley must feel as if she’s spinning several plates at once. She and her team facilitate 3,000-plus remote events plus studio programming on all ESPN platforms as well as all of ABC’s sports programs, so it’s a good thing she knows how to meditate. “Close your eyes for five minutes, clear your mind and slow your breathing—it works for me every time.”
