Hightower has elevated the role of Cox’s legal team during the past year, ensuring it plays a significant part in operational strategy and objectives. As such, she plays a key advisory role and has the ear of Cox’s C-level executives. As general counsel, she also helps the company navigate a complex and ever-changing regulatory landscape, including privacy, compliance and government affairs. She recently was named to the internal strategic planning team for 2017-18 company objectives and is a co-chair of the Enterprise Risk Management Governance team.
