Smith’s daily to-do list is long and winding, but as one of Comcast Cable’s most senior lawyers, he tackles each task with exuberant professionalism. He oversees the legal team providing counsel for packaging and pricing, marketing, procurement, commercial business services, new products, customer service and real estate. Smith also is a strong proponent for evolving diversity and inclusion in the media industry. In August of 2017, Smith spoke on an ABA podcast addressing the presence of diversity in law firms.
