Whitaker’s aware that consumers’ top need is high-speed so she and her team worked at launching 1 Gigabit residential service. She also believes in servicing the community in more personal way. She is an active board member of the Allegheny Conference on Community Development, a civic leadership organization active in Pittsburgh for more than 70 years, and is also a board member of the Josh and Brittney Harrisons for Hope Foundation, which provides clothing to low-income children from “cradle to college.”
