Bret Perkins

Internet Essentials wouldn’t be the same without the stewardship of Perkins. Since its national launch in 2011, the program connects more than 6 million low-income Americans to in-home broadband. The initiative allows Comcast to get closer to the communities it serves, leading to relationships with more than 9,000 community-based organizations, libraries and government agencies. In his spare time, Perkins devotes himself to getting involved in Philadelphia. He currently serves as board chair for the Committee of Seventy and is on the boards of Visit Philadelphia, PIDC, Readworks and the New Leaders Council.
