This year Mediacom marked its 20th anniversary, and there’s no doubt Commisso-Weinand’s business prowess is inextricably woven into the company’s success through the years. A celebrated cable veteran and member of the Broadcasting & Cable Hall of Fame, she packs a powerful combination of institutional knowledge and agility as she continues to help steer the fifth largest cable operator through a changing landscape. This past year she successfully negotiated renewals with key programmers including Univision and Discovery, as she continues to train her eye on evolving content models, including skinny bundles.
