Cleeng Partners with Brightcove For Video Content Micropayments
Amsterdam and Paris-based startup Cleeng has partnered with Brightcove to provide an in-video monetization solution specially designed for enterprises. In-video monetization enables publishers to collect payment for watching all or part of a video.
Cleeng is a patented technical solution for one-click content monetization. Available as a CMS plug-in, it enables content creators to earn micropayments for their content. It works on all Web-enabled devices.
Joint Brightcove and Cleeng customers now can set monetization conditions for video content directly from within the Brightcove platform. Cleeng lets publishers monetize some of their video content while leaving the rest of it freely accessible. Publishers have the freedom to define the price and section of the video that is available for viewing directly within the Brightcove platform, then the protected video section is blurred once published. People pay with one-click, and the video is instantly available.
