John Hendricks’ nonfiction programming service CuriosityStream scored distribution via YouTube’s vMVPD service YouTube TV. Starting today, subscribers can add CuriosityStream as a premium channel for an additional $3 per month.

The service has similar deals in place with Amazon, Comcast and Roku. CuriosityStream has steadily been adding distribution, with former distribution head Clint Stinchomb named as its new president/CEO last month.

YouTube TV launched last year, offering more than 60 networks and a cloud DVR for $40/month. CuriosityStream is among the premium channels YouTube TV offers, which inlcude Fox Soccer Plus and Showtime.

“YouTube TV is proving that traditional linear television and digital channels can be offered to the consumer seamlessly and successfully. This is the next evolution,” Stinchcomb said in a statement.
