Gaviria oversees marketing and brand strategies across Univision’s portfolio. Promoted to EVP in July 2013, she also launched UniMás and music service Uforia. How does she keep it all together? “I have found that exercise and meditation allows me to be more present at home and at work. Both practices are key to keeping a balanced life for me,” she says.

What’s been the biggest story in cable this year?

UCI’s biggest innovation this year is diversifying its portfolio of brands with Uforia, Flama and UVideos to serve bi-cultural Hispanics with new and fresh music, entertainment and made for web content.

What is your best trick for maintaining the personal-professional life balance?

I have found that exercise and meditation allows me to be more present at home and at work. Both practices are key to keeping a balanced life for me.

How do you define a successful career?
