Website re-designs don’t always have to be public facing, and NBCUniversal’s decision to evaluate and transform its content distribution portal is a prime example. In truth it was 3 content portals, which after an exhaustive evaluation and ideation process was consolidated into a comprehensive one-stop shop. Included in the planning was a phased rollout to properly funnel customers from the old site to the new. The launch was supremely successful, increasing asset downloads while reducing the Marketing department’s workload.
