Kanter leads development and production of content for the newly launched Disney Junior both in the U.S. and abroad. She also oversees strategic direction for the multiplatform brand on TV, digital and radio platforms – with a 14% rise in daypart ratings since last year. Kanter continually challenges herself to stay ahead of the curve. “Kids television has become more and more competitive. Kids are smarter and smarter, and we have to keep pace,” she says. This knowledge will help Kanter as she oversees Disney Junior’s move to a 24-hour network in 2012.
