Molly Solomon
Solomon was a driving force behind Golf Channel posting one of its most-watched years ever in 2015. Her production team produced nearly 5,000 hours of live tournament coverage, news programming and two new daily shows, “Golf Central” and “Morning Drive.” With golf’s return to the Olympics next summer after more than 100 years, she has her work cut out for her, but she loves a challenge. “Giving someone the confidence to think and dream bigger,” she says, is the best part of mentoring.

What/who inspires you at work? What/who inspires you outside the office?
I am inspired by the fact that I work at a unique place in the TV industry where we can set the direction for a game we love, golf. Outside the office, there’s nothing more satisfying than a glass of wine with my husband and us listening to stories from our three sixth graders.
Best trick for maintaining the personal-professional life balance?
Knowing that there isn’t one trick or way to accomplish that balance, but that each moment demands a personal decision on what’s important.
